I drive a lifted 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I went in with a suspension/ power steering issue from doing donuts. Told them soon as I walked through the door about a bad Experience my friend had with them trying to upcharge him and say a lot was wrong that wasn't. He then brought his jeep his dealer and had it diangnosed and they said all the things were fine. When I brought my jeep to shruggs I was 90% sure i needed a powersteering pump, I told them I ONLY wanted to fix the underlying issue. I was expecting them to be professional and be able to diagnose the issue. Instead they came out with a HUGE LIST. I was told I needed a power steering flush, engine air filter, windshield wipers, They said my Tie rod was bad, Pit man arm loose at steering box, track bar bad, all four ball joints, told me my alignment was bad, my radiator was leaking, real axle seals, and all my exhaust flanges were bad. Were looking at thousands of dollars of damage from me doing a donut and loosing power steering??????? Told them to lower my car I would fix it myself. Went and bought a $220 Power Steering pump, installed it myself in the cold, reinstalled my dual steering stabilizer and my jeep is perfect. Drives on a dime. Alignment is perfect. You can let go of the steering wheel at 60 and it doesn't move. I really wish I could tell you I had a good experience but it was awful and they just tried to take money from me. Would never recommend or send anyone here.
I'm sorry you feel this way Russel. We look at over 10 Jeeps a day between our locations, and I assure you the stuff we noted is actually an issue. We believe in letting our customers know the full story on their vehicle. We do a full no charge courtesy inspection on all the cars that come through with photos and video included. It helps keep our customers in the know and safe on the road. That list was a complete list of what we found to be not up to par on your Jeep. By no means was that a list of everything that had to be done that day to fix your current issue nor was it all caused by your burnout. I just looked at your work order and you can clearly see the photos and video documentation of all of the above mentioned issues. Please let me know if you didn't receive that document as I can email it over to you and I'll need to talk to my staff about making sure our customers receive that info.
