Scruggs employees were so considerate - allowing to drop off early before a snow storm, keeping my vehicle in garage overnight for next -day appointment. I was invoiced and paid online which was very convenient. Then, when I went to pick up my car, I noticed the snow was brushed off and they shoveled a path to my door. No issues with service and the ability to book appointments online is also a plus. I will definitely be going back!

I brought my car to Scruggs in Lockport on Monday. My car was shaking while braking. I figured I needed an alignment, tie rod replaced, or something of the sort. I also needed an oil change. After asking oil change price there, i said i was going to take it to my regular place for an oil change because it was cheaper and jimmy made a comment about “saving 20 bucks” and clearly got annoyed. When I called originally all I did was ask for it to be looked at and see what was going on. Never once discussed fixing anything on it. I got a text with the things that needed to be “fixed”. On the list was new front brake pads and rotors which seemed odd to me because I got new front brakes over the summer. When I called to say I was coming to get my vehicle, i was told it was “unsafe to drive” and needed to be fixed before it was driven again. I said no and Jimmy proceeded to have the car towed literally around the block to my house. Today I took my car for a second opinion and there is nothing wrong with my front brake pads or rotors and it is 100% safe to drive other than one bald front tire. Long story short, don’t take your car here unless you want to pay $1000 extra for no reason. I’m also attaching the photo of everything that needed “fixing” when all I actually need is an alignment, two new front tires, and MAYBE tie rod replaced.

Trying upsell excessively. Said I will need a new power steering rack and pinion to pass inspection next year as it is leaking heavily. Passed this year because they can't source the parts. The "excessive" leak is some engine oil from the cartridge filter that clearly ran down from my last oil change. Beware $$$
