I went to this business at their Elma location for a routine NYS auto inspection.The mechanics and reception were very kind and professional! However after my inspection was completed- Henry (a worker at Scruggs) mentioned some things in need of being fixed (minor and regular wear and tear on the vehicle). When I told him no I didn’t want them fixed (because I work on my own car and can do it myself) he questioned me. He asked me why I was hesitant. I wasn’t- I can fix it myself. No need to pay for their cost of labor. No means no and I don’t have to explain myself why I don’t want something done to my vehicle especially if it passes inspection.

Great service completed in a timely fashion. Worked to get the job done within budget.

I took my truck to Scruggs in the fall for collapsed oil lifters. After having the truck an entire week, I went to go pick it up only for them to tell me they need to keep it over the weekend because it still made noise after putting it back together. They also charged me $1000 more than the original estimate, which came out to over $3000. Finally got it back and the truck began to smoke oil at start up, which it NEVER has done before they worked on it. Called them up and they took it back and emptied the oil catch can and told me that was my problem. Well it did absolutely nothing. Took it back to them a week later and when i picked it back up this time, i found out they did not look at the truck and simply just googled problems that were not at all related to the smoking. For 3 days they had my truck tied up and did NOT even look at it. Over $3000 dollars later and im still stuck with this issue. Its disappointing because they have great reviews and i always liked going there for jobs i couldnt handle on my own. They’ve worked on multiple cars i have owned throughout the years, and I’ve sent alot of friends and family members there for work. One thing i liked about them is the staff was very friendly through all of this.

Amazing customer service, I know this is a shop I can trust and that won't try to up sell me on things I don't need. Shop was able to get me in quick and even had my car detailed afterwards

Replaced the driver side window regulator and motor on my 20 year old Silverado. Same day service and a loaner car while I waited for the work to be completed.

I was pretty impressed with Scruggs. I got in and out quickly. It's obvious that they're on top of their game.
