Chris, Josh, and the entire crew are second to none. Quality honest work for a fair price. They guarantee their work and they will go above and beyond to accommodate their customers. A ++ SERVICE. It's the only shop I trust.

We are so happy to have you as a customer. Thanks for the review!

Did a NYS inspection for me and pointed out other areas that needed attention… with photos! Paid for my inspection online before I arrives to pick up my car. Very convenient with fast friendly service. Who could ask for more?

Isnt that an awesome feature? We are glad you liked that. We believe in being as transparent as possible. Thanks for the review.

Unbelievable... the Scruggs Automotive family is spread throughout the Western New York area, and I can not speak of all of there shops, but I can definitely speak of my experience with the Elma location. Two weeks ago, I had dropped my 03 Jeep Rubicon (which for the year us in exellent condition), off to have the dreaded Jeep "death wobble" taken care of... I knew when I had dropped it off that my track bar had some play and was likely the culprit. I had also asked to have wheels balanced, and an alignment done because I knew I was going to need one after the front end linkage repair. I had also asked to have my automatic transmission serviced with a flush and fill. I had dropped my Jeep off on the weekend, 05/30/21 and used the convenient key drop service. I was called promptly Tuesday morning due to the holiday with a diagnosis. I was told I need a new track bar, which I was aware of, and I was also told I needed new tie rod ends. Ok, fair enough... I was also told that my rear axle seal was leaking, and needed to be serviced. Well, since this same shop did the same repair roughly 2 months ago the repair was honored under warranty. Thank you. Moving on. The sum of my repairs/and requested servuce totaled $1049 and change... I was called the following Monday, 06/07/21 and I was told my Jeep was ready for pick up. Working out of town, I was not able to get there to pick up my Jeep until Friday night. 06/11/21... I arrived after hours to pick up my Jeep. This was easy because I have a spare key... As I start driving home, the steering felt tighter, but something was still off... between 45-50 mph I was still feeling a wobble... I shook it off as my imagination..... not much later I rounded the corner and there it was the "death wobble"... are you kidding me... did they even do a test drive? There was nice print out of my alignment settings on the front seat. Not being mechanically reclined I was able to easily read it. They apparently "set the toe and let it go"... no other adjustments were made although everything is adjustable.... camber, and caster have adjustment provisions. Well, this made me look further... although I was charged for wheel balancing, I don't believe it was ever done... not one of my wheels has any indication of a new wheel wieght being installed or old weights being removed... anywhere, all four wheels..... moving on to my transmission service... as I sit here writing this summary I have already added two quarts of automatic transmission fluid to my Jeep and my Jeep doesn't leak.... Also, if they did any service work to my rear axle seal at all, there is no indication of any wrench marks, or any cleaning of any surface at all.... Was my Jeep really ready for pickup on 06/07/21?... was it even serviced the way it was asked for or told to me that it was? I paid my bill over the phone like a customer should... needless to I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the service received from Scruggs Automotive of Elma..... buyer beware.... Trust and integrity are a large part of having a business.... I personally have lost faith in Scruggs....

Let me tell you about my first experience with scruggs as well as my experience with the people of Lockport. While in Lockport my vehicle shut down. Not one minute after I pulled over and opened up my hood, three Samaritans pulled over and asked me if I needed help. First a woman then a man then two other gentlemen. The letter were employees of Scruggs. He guided me back to the shop gave me a courtesy check up on my vehicle and did help me find out that I needed a new OEM gas cap. The way this young gentleman approached me was very professional. His name was Ian. I was assistant by his associate Jimmy as well once I got to the shop. They handled me like family and I really appreciated that because they didn't treat me like a large corporation where they want to just gouge me for money. They truly took the time to find out what was going on with my vehicle and they weren't satisfied until I was satisfied. I like the new system that they're using where you are not kept in the dark about your vehicle and what needs to be fixed they keep you involved and I like that because you also learn about your own vehicle as they're finding out what's going on with your vehicle. If it wasn't for Ian approaching me when my car was broke down. I wouldn't know that there was good service and Good Samaritans in Lockport NY. Now Scruggs is a part of my family and I have good mechanics that I can trust. If that's the kind of service you want? Make sure you call up Scruggs ask for Jimmy he'll we'll make sure you're taken care of.
