Flushing your radiator is a way of cleaning one of the most crucial components of your car's cooling system. The process removes rust, dirt, and other particulates that contaminate the mix of coolant and water inside. This prevents your radiator from working efficiently. Why is Flushing The Radiator Necessary? Flushing the radiator is the same as scaling it and rinsing it. Flushing the radiator also clears and lubricates the water pump, so that it works more efficiently to circulate cool water and air through your entire vehicle. During a radiator flush, new antifreeze replaces old antifreeze and old metal deposits and dirt are dissolved, scrubbed away and removed.
